I just received an email from my next WWOOF host! I should be leaving on Friday to Nagasaki Prefecture, further south on the island of Kyushu. It's not Okinawa but it'll do for now. Apparently the host is an organic farm, organic bakery/cafe that serves their own produce, and language school. I'm excited to meet more people and see another part of Japan but this whole setup of working somewhere for a few weeks and moving on is quite bizarre, and it didn't feel quite real until this new information. This idea of rapidly creating a new life and leaving it behind is a bit sad, in a way. I'm only just starting to be quite at home here in Sasayama, and I'll miss it. Apparently the cherry blossoms are beautiful in Nagasaki, though!
